![]() ![]() After an unplanned 2-month hiatus, the timeline discussion is back, and with a fresh new look.Īs the MCU enters a new era in 2021, so too do we start a fresh new discussion: new location, new format, new name and numbering (as suggested here). Similarly, "Click Here for Bottom of Thread" is a "="-level header ("=" instead of "=" just because it might as well be small and unobtrusive).ĭiscussion Thread Primarily Helstrom Discussion Continuation (December 31, 2020-January 10, 2021)īEJT ( talk) 06:32, 31 December 2020 (UTC) "Instructions for Replying" is a "="-level header so it will appear under the "=RECENT MESSAGES=" section when you edit that section, being classified as a subheading rather than the next, separate section. The idea of it covering a few days of messages being that any message you are likely to quote is from the last few days (if it's not, you would have to edit the page in general). This should make the editing for replying less unwieldy, more controlled and contained. Clicking on "edit source", you will be able to just edit that section, i.e. If you click on "RECENT MESSAGES" in the contents list, you should find the "edit source" button. The idea is that if you wish to post a reply, you needn't edit this whole page. It is intended to always sit above the last few days (loosely, updated semi-regularly by BEJT) of messages. This is a header that will move over time. The final "="-level header of this page is "RECENT MESSAGES".Try not to use headers in your messages, since they will disrupt the contents list. These headers will appear in the contents list, and will provide quick access to finding sections of discussion archive when revisiting the discussion at a later date. As discussions progress, BEJT will put header dividers ("=") in to split the thread into sections based on the primary thing(s) being discussed. If you are someone who bookmarks this page, you may even want to bookmark "#Click_Here_for_Bottom_of_Thread" to always be taken here. It is positioned just above the instructions for replying, meaning it will quickly take you to just under the latest message. If you want to read the latest message (or latest few messages), click in the contents list on "Click Here for Bottom of Thread".Hopefully, you should quickly get the hang of things. When replying, follow the instructions at the bottom of the page. This thread will last us until March 31, 2021.
